Young Apprenticeships (Sports Performance)

London Leisure College, in partnership with Greenwich Council, Eltham Green Specialist Sports College, and Greenwich Education and Business Partnership, are pleased to announce a new cohort of Young Apprentices.

 

Following a successful first year's programme Greenwich Council and the partners applied and have been successful in securing funding to expand the programme to two cohorts. Students from any secondary school in Greenwich have the opportunity to apply to join the scheme that will commence alongside the first cohort in September 2007.

 

Over 40 students with a passion for Sport and  Leisure and career aspirations in the Sport and Leisure sector, will experience the journey of joint sector specialist tuition alongside real life work placements and projects over the next two years that will potentially lead directly to employment in the sector or continued further education.
