National Certificate for Door Supervisors
Who is the course for?
The Level 2 NCDS is designed for those who wish to work in the security industry; and is awarded to those who pass two examinations covering the basic knowledge and responsibilities of the occupation.
This nationally recognised qualification is the industry standard and enables a door supervisor to apply for a licence to practice.

How is the course structured?
The SIA Door Supervisor course is run over four days and has 28 hours of tuition and 2 hours of exams. The exams consist of two 40-question multiple choice papers with pass marks of 28 for Unit 1, and 24 for Unit 2.

How much does it cost?
This course is full cost and the fee for the course depends on who is paying.
- If you are paying the fee yourself you are designated as an ‘Individual’.
- If your employer is paying your fee then you will be designated ‘Employer’.

If you wish to pay your fee by cheque, please make it payable to "Greenwich Leisure Limited".
You must write the following three pieces of information on the back of the cheque and enclose it with your application form:
- Name of the course
- Dates of the course
- The name of the person taking the course
If you would like to pay your fee by credit or debit card, or arrange for your company to be invoiced, please contact us on 020 8676 7550.
We will then send you confirmation of your place, payment and directions to the training venue.
Please note: Your place is not confirmed on a course until full payment is received and you have been sent confirmation details. Minimum numbers are required for the course to run and dates/venues may be subject to change.
