EQUITY IN YOUR COACHING (scuk)

WORKSHOP CONTENT

Everyone should have access to sport, regardless of gender, age, race, ability, faith, or sexual orientation. As a coach, you have an important role to play in ensuring it happens. The workshop will help you to apply and extend your existing skills to meet the needs of present and potential participants.

The scUK workshop will help you to:

Explain what sports equity means and why it is important
Identify barriers to participation
Use appropriate language and terminology
Identify and challenge inequitable behaviour
Interpret the legal framework that affects coaching
Identify how to become more equitable
Establish where to go for further information

The Equity in Your Coaching workshop costs £ 40 per person

You can pay the fees by credit or debit card.If you would like to pay your fee by credit or debit card, or arrange for your company to be invoiced, please contact us on 020 8676 7550.

Please ensure that you've read our terms and conditions, (to be found in the bottom right hand corner of the website,) before making payment.

We will then send you confirmation of your place, payment and directions to the training venue.

Please note: Your place is not confirmed on the workshop until full payment is received and you have been sent confirmation details. Minimum numbers are required for the workshop to run and dates/venues may be subject to change.
